Why We Chose It

Every table needs a bread basket that is not trying too hard. This one has a flat, tight weave on the bottom and a soft flare at the rim, so a torn loaf or a pile of pears sits in it without rolling. It weighs almost nothing, costs little, and makes a linen-lined bowl of warm rolls look like something you planned.
