Soft butter on the counter, ready for warm bread, with no cold brick to wrestle out of the fridge.
Why We Chose It
This is the old French method: butter goes into the bell-shaped lid, the lid sits upside down in a little water in the base, and the water seals out the air. It holds two sticks. Each one is thrown by hand, to order, in the Austin studio behind our bowls and mugs.
How We'd Style It
Keep it out next to the stoneware salt jar in a second glaze, then carry both to The Resolana Table when the bread comes out.

Good to Know
Change the water in the base every few days to keep the butter fresh. Glaze, rings and drips differ from piece to piece, so yours will not be a copy of the photo.
