Why We Chose It

The crackle glaze does the work here. It catches light the way old pottery does, and the raw lower half keeps it from looking precious. The slate blue is the one we reach for first, but the mustard holds its own against adobe walls, and the moss green disappears happily into a crowd of plants.

How We'd Style It

Most of what we carry comes from a single maker's studio. This planter is produced in larger runs, and we chose it anyway for the shape and the glaze colors. We would rather tell you that plainly than let you wonder. Glaze crackle and the line where it ends vary from pot to pot.
