Returns

A thick band of bare clay runs around the rim, and the glaze pools inside it like water.

Why We Chose It

The raised rim keeps sauce, beans and a runny yolk where you put them. Each is thrown by hand, to order, in the same Austin studio as our bowls and mugs.

Good to Know

Let it reach room temperature before a hot oven; a jump from the fridge can crack stoneware. Width and glaze vary a little.

Chances are, your piece does not exist yet. Most of this studio's work is thrown to order, so when you buy, the potter shapes yours on the wheel in Austin, Texas, glazes it in the color you chose and sends it straight from the studio to your door. Please allow up to 10 business days for it to be made and shipped. It is worth the wait: every piece is formed by hand, so size and glaze vary a little, and no one else has one exactly like yours.
