A pedestal platter from the Guculia collection, smoke-fired to the deep, variable black the studio calls Shadow.
Why We Chose It
A pedestal gives food architecture, lifting a cake or a pile of figs into a centerpiece. The smoke-fired surface carries cloudy variation no glaze can copy.
How We'd Style It
Use it for dessert at a dinner party, or leave it out holding a single bowl of fruit like sculpture.
