The rim of each plate is carved by hand, line by line, so the edge catches the light the way a raked garden does at dusk.

Why We Chose It

A matte white glaze goes on over a mix of red and black clays, and its slight transparency reads as a soft grey-white that shifts through the day. They are low, sturdy and sized for real dinners, not just photographs.
